How to Apply Reusable Eye Stickers (Without Ruining Your Makeup)

Reusable eye stickers look incredible in photos, but the difference between "flawless" and not almost always comes down to application. Here's how to get it right every time.

1. Start with clean, dry skin. Any oil, moisturizer, or leftover makeup may stop the adhesive from bonding properly. Cleanse the area and let it fully dry — even a slightly damp lid can cause lifting later.

2. Apply before your eye makeup, not after. Put your sticker on first, then build your eyeshadow and liner around it. This gives you a clean edge and means you're not fighting powder residue when you place the sticker.

3. Use the tweezers for placement. Fingers are harder to be precise with, especially near the lash line. Use the precision tweezers from your kit to line up the sticker exactly where you want it before pressing down.

4. Press from the center outward. Start at the middle of the design and smooth outward toward the edges. This avoids trapping air bubbles that can make the edges lift.

5. Let the glue set for 30 seconds before touching your face. Rushing this step is the #1 reason stickers shift out of place.

6. To remove, peel GENTLY. Using micellar water is a plus, hold it against the sticker for a few seconds, then gently lift. Pulling too fast can damage the sticker, which matters since these are meant to be reused.

Follow these steps and one sticker set really will get you through many uses.
